If you remember North Windham before Shaw’s and Hannaford, Walmart and Lowe’s, and DQ and Friendly’s, you will especially enjoy the map of North Windham drawn by Phil Kennard back in 2005.

The map, drawn according to the memories of Phil, Steve Manchester, and Pete Philpot, shows where family homes stood during the period from 1920 to 1940. Be sure to take a look at the map the next time you visit the Historical Society. It is a special slice of North Windham history. Copies are available to buy for $15 each.
