Join guest speaker, Anne Gass, as she discusses the topic “There’s Nothing Complicated About Ordinary Equality: The Equal Rights Amendment: Past and Present.” Anne has been a presenter for the Society before when she spoke about women’s suffrage based on her book, Voting Down the Rose, Florence Brooks Whitehouse and Maine’s Fight For Woman Suffrage,” a biography based on her great grandmother. She also wrote We Demand, an historical fiction novel based on the true story of a Suffrage road trip. Anne is a very captivating speaker and we are delighted to have her back. We hope you can join us for this fascinating presentation. Refreshments will be served.
