Annual Christmas Fair

IMG_1454.JPG

It’s the most wonderful time of year, time for the Windham Historical Society’s Annual Christmas Fair. This year’s Fair takes place on Saturday, November 10, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Society’s Old Town House Museum 234 Windham Center Road. The Fair Committee needs volunteers to help get ready for the event.

As in the past, the fair will have a wonderful array of fine candies and homemade baked goods. There will also be vendors selling original giftware, holiday decorations, clothing, and jewelry. And, there will even be a space for “new-to-you” items if you have some things you’d like to donate.

Society Treasurer Linda Lunt is Fair Committee Chair again this year and she needs your help. Set-up day for the event is Friday, November 9. Would you like to contribute a craft or possibly some baked or canned goods to the Fair? Would you like to help set up tables? Maybe you’d simply like to attach price tags to items or put up posters to promote the event. We need people for set-up day and people to work the day of the event. We’ll also need help tearing down tables when the Fair is over.

Call Linda Lunt at 655-3421 to volunteer or if you have thoughts on how to make the Fair more fun and successful. Please show some holiday spirit this year and lend a helping hand! It will get you points with Santa.
