The Windham Historical Society 2020 Commemorative Bicentennial Calendar

2020 marks the 200th Anniversary of Maine’s becoming a state. To celebrate the occasion, the Windham Historical Society has put together a unique calendar that gives a glimpse into life around 1820.

With pencil and ink drawings by Windham resident and Society member Jerry Black, text by Windham writer Walter Lunt and design by the talented Rebecca Weller, also of Windham, this handsome calendar is a wonderful gift idea.

Each month features a nostalgic scene or vignette that is accompanied by a paragraph of copy describing the illustration, so as you move through the coming year, you will learn a little Maine history as well.
